Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the Hearth mobile application (“the App”) and the website at genxhearth.com. By creating an account or using Hearth, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who can use Hearth
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on Hearth. By signing up, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Accounts created by or on behalf of anyone under 18 will be removed.
Hearth is intended for real people using their own name and photograph, with the purpose of meeting other adults for genuine connection. Accounts that misrepresent their identity may be suspended or removed.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us at hello@genxhearth.com immediately.
You can delete your account at any time from within the App. Deletion is permanent and removes your profile, content, and messages within 30 days.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Hearth to:
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate other members
- Post content that is unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, or that exploits or endangers minors
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- Send spam, unsolicited marketing, or scams
- Collect information about other members without their consent
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform’s operation, security, or infrastructure
- Use Hearth for any commercial purpose not authorised by us
Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent removal from the platform. For serious violations — in particular anything involving the safety of minors — we cooperate with the relevant authorities.
4. Content you post
You retain ownership of the content you post on Hearth. By posting, you grant us a limited licence to store, display, and distribute that content within the App as needed to provide the service.
You are responsible for the content you post. Do not post anything you do not have the right to share.
5. Invitations and events
Open invitations posted on Hearth are informal and non-contractual. Hearts does not organise, insure, or supervise any activity posted by members. You are responsible for your own safety when meeting other members or attending any activity. Use your own judgement and common sense.
6. Subscriptions and payments
Some features of Hearth may be available only on a paid subscription. Pricing and terms for any paid features will be displayed in the App before you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel them; you can cancel from your device’s App Store settings.
7. Disclaimers
Hearth is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that any content posted by members is accurate, complete, or reliable.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hearth, its founder, and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of data, loss of profits, or any harm that arises from an interaction with another member.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if your account is inactive for an extended period, or if we are required to do so by law. You can terminate your account at any time by deleting it from within the App.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
